Canucks Announce Mellanby as Pro Scout

After being hired in may as a counsultant to GM Mike Gillis, it’s been announced that ex player Scott Mellanby will be heading the Pro Scouting department for the Vancouver Canucks. Scott Mellanby last played in the 2006 / 2007 season, and has played for 20 NHL seasons for five different nhl clubs, including the Atlanta Thrashers, St. Louis Blues, Florida Panthers, Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers. He has played in 1,431 games during that time span, ammasing 364 goals and 476 assists.
